Good morning, darlings. In the wake of last night’s Presidential Debate and the destruction of Hurricane Matthew, I find myself wanting to share a reminder that we can all be better. We can make better choices, be better human beings, and create a better world in which our children will grow up. I refuse to think that this election reflects what my country is truly capable of or that it represents the best of our citizens, but that it is going to be used as an instrument for change and improvement in the future.
Regardless of your political standing – we all need to keep in mind that our capacity to bring about change, meet challenges, and recover from hardships is only limited by the boundaries we set before ourselves. We can keep moving forward to improve things as best we can with grace and love for our fellow humans.
It’s a short message for today but an important one. I hope you’ll take it into your heart.
